About this course
Understanding Waste Management in the TV industry and how we do our bit to save the planet.
Delivered by industry experts Screen Alliance Wales, this practical 1-day course is for creative industry professionals of all levels designed to improve waste management in the TV industry.
Participants will gain insights into the environmental impact of their work, understand legal obligations and learn practical strategies to minimise waste production.
The course is being held at Wolf Studios Wales running on the following dates:

Fully funded by Cardiff Capital Region and the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund this course is FREE to attend.
What you will study:
Across the day, subjects covered will include:
*Waste Streams and Picture Zero
*Water Efficiency
*Legal Responsibilities and Compliance
*Environmental Strategies and Practices
*Application of Learning to Your Role and Business
Refreshments and lunch will be provided with the opportunity for a tour around Wolf Studios Wales in Cardiff during the day.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must be 18+ and live or work in the Cardiff Capital Region, which includes Bridgend, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen, and the Vale of Glamorgan. Applicants cannot be in full-time education.
This course has been designed for individuals who are working within the Creative Sector, particularly the TV industry.
Please provide proof of your age and address at point of application. E.g. Drivers Licence or Passport and Utility Bill.
Teaching and Assessment Methods:
Face to face in the classroom. There is no formal assessment.
