Yn 2025, byddwn unwaith eto yn rhedeg ardal Teledu a Ffilm (y Sinemaes) o’r Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yn Wrecsam, felly rydym yn chwilio am gynnwys i’w gyflwyno yn ystod yr wythnos. O ganlyniad, rydym yn cyhoeddi galwad gyffredinol i wneuthurwyr ffilm yng Nghymru gyflwyno eu ffilmiau, neu’n gobeithio cael amser i ddatblygu rhywbeth newydd.

Ar gyfer yr Eisteddfod, byddai angen i ffilmiau fod naill ai yn Gymraeg, neu heb ddeialog. Fodd bynnag, byddem yn croesawu diddordeb gan ffilmiau eraill, gan ein bod mewn trafodaethau i gael presenoldeb mewn rhai digwyddiadau eraill.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer cyflwyno yw'r 1af o mis Mai, ond roeddem am roi mwy o rybudd eleni, ac efallai hyd yn oed roi cyfle i bobl gychwyn syniad newydd. Bydd ffilmiau’n cael eu hadolygu i weld a ydynt yn briodol, ond ni lwyddwyd i ddangos unrhyw ffilmiau a gyflwynwyd eleni (dim ond rhai a ddangoswyd yn ystod noson ‘arswyd’ benodol).

In 2025, we will be once again running the TV & Film area (the Sinemaes) of the National Eisteddfod in Wrexham, so we are looking for content to present during the week. As a result, we are issuing a general call out for filmmakers in Wales to submit their films, or hopefully have time to develop something new.

For the Eisteddfod, films would need to be either in Welsh, or dialogue-free. However, we would welcome interest from other films, as we are in discussions to have a presence at some other events.

The deadline for submission is the 1st of May, but we wanted to give more notice this year, and maybe even give people an opportunity to initiate a new idea. Films will be reviewed for appropriateness, but no films submitted failed to be shown this year (just were some shown during a set ‘horror’ evening).
