Screen Alliance 'All of Wales' in 2022

Mae'r erthygl yma yn y Gymraeg i'w weld isod

This year, our Welsh Language Training and Education Manager Rhys is setting out to hit a particular target - to deliver face-to-face workshop sessions in every Welsh Local Authority in 2022.  Read on to find out why he’s set this goal, and how educators across the country can get involved.

“When I started at Screen Alliance Wales, one of my goals in the first year was to promote opportunities in the TV and Film within the Welsh Language.  It was clear to me that from the start, the best way to do this would be to engage in parts of Wales where the language is most prevalent.  My intention was to reach out to North and West Wales, but then the Covid 19 pandemic happened.

Over the last 12 months, I have started making inroads into this challenge, but in 2022 I want to make sure I reach every part of Wales.

We have some projects already lined up, but there are a few authorities not pencilled in yet.  Throughout the year, we’ll be targeting certain areas and hopefully a few schools will be happy to host a free workshop or talk.”

If your school is interested in a face-to-face workshop or talk about careers in TV & Film, then get in touch with us at [email protected].  Additionally, keep track of our progress by keeping an eye on our social media accounts and the hashtag #AllWales22.

Eleni, mae Rhys, ein Rheolwr Addysg a Hyfforddiant iaith Gymraeg yn bwriadu cyrraedd targed penodol - i gyflwyno sesiynau gweithdy wyneb yn wyneb ym mhob Awdurdod Lleol yng Nghymru yn 2022. Darllenwch ymlaen i ddarganfod pam ei fod wedi gosod y nod hwn, a sut gall addysgwyr ledled y wlad gymryd rhan.

“Pan ddechreuais i gyda Screen Alliance Wales, un o fy mhrif nodau yn y flwyddyn gyntaf oedd hyrwyddo cyfleoedd ym myd Teledu a Ffilm o fewn yr Iaith Gymraeg. Roedd yn amlwg i mi mai’r ffordd orau o wneud hyn o’r dechrau fyddai ymgysylltu â rhannau o Gymru lle mae’r iaith fwyaf cyffredin. Fy mwriad oedd estyn allan i Ogledd a Gorllewin Cymru, ond yna digwyddodd y pandemig Covid 19.

Dros y 12 mis diwethaf, rwyf wedi dechrau gwneud cynnydd yn yr her hon, ond yn 2022 rwyf am wneud yn siŵr fy mod yn cyrraedd pob rhan o Gymru.

Mae gennym rai prosiectau eisoes wedi'u trefnu, ond mae rhai awdurdodau nad ydynt wedi'u cynnwys eto. Drwy gydol y flwyddyn, byddwn yn targedu rhai ardaloedd penodol a gobeithio y bydd rhai ysgolion yn hapus i gynnal gweithdy neu sgwrs am ddim.” Os oes gan eich ysgol ddiddordeb mewn gweithdy wyneb yn wyneb neu siarad am yrfaoedd ym myd Teledu a Ffilm, cysylltwch â ni ar [email protected]. Yn ogystal, cadwch olwg ar ein cynnydd trwy ddilyn ein cyfrifon cyfryngau cymdeithasol a’r hashnod #DrosGymru22.
