Cardiff Commitment

Boom Cymru donated filming kit to 6 high schools across the city as they start their journey to Mars!

Space Academy 2023 was a week-long education program to help 13 and 14-year-olds learn more about global efforts for space travel and colonisation of Mars. The scheme inspired learners, especially those in underrepresented groups, to engage with STEM based careers in the space industry - thanks to Boom Cymru's support, the learners also learned some filming, editing and voice over skills as they created their own celebration of their journey to Mars. We’ve looked at the final piece, and it really is out of this world! Why not take a look for yourself here
